Surveys -- additional information

Hi, everyone!
It looks like a large majority of you have received and completed your surveys already -- thanks! There are a couple of situations we should have pointed out yesterday:
- If you used a privaterelay.appleid.com email address on your Kickstarter account (ie, registered your account on Kickstarter through your iPhone), we can't send surveys to that blocked domain. Your survey may have gone to that address, but since those mailboxes aren't easily accessed by their users, you probably won't see it. Please provide us with an alternate email to use instead, and we'll update your Pledge Manager link accordingly and resend it.
- If you used Kickstarter’s “Pledge Over Time” option to pay in installments, your pledge isn’t considered complete until the final payment is collected. It appears that these payment installments are scheduled to occur on June 1 and July 1. Once your full pledge has been collected, your survey link should be generated by Backerkit and sent to you within 72 hours of that final collection confirmation. If any of those installment payments fail, Kickstarter will mark your pledge as "failed", but your information should still be carried into Backerkit, accounting for what WAS successfully collected, so you can pay any failed balances in the Pledge Manager after the fact without losing your pledge tier qualification. 🙂
If your pledge falls into either of the above scenarios, you will not get a link by email. If neither scenario applies to you and you still have not gotten your survey link, let us know by messaging us here on Kickstarter or emailing [email protected]. Please don't leave a comment as those are harder to monitor and track.
Thanks, everyone!
Surveys have been sent!

Hi everyone!
Sorry for the slight delay, but the rest of the campaign surveys have been sent as of this morning! There were some issues to take care of behind the scenes, but everything should be fine now.
You should receive an email with your individual Pledge Manager link from Backerkit (perhaps on behalf of "Label 619-Magnetic Press"). If you don't see it in your Kickstarter-associated email inbox, check your spam folder or quarantine settings. If you still don't see it, please message us here on Kickstarter, or at "[email protected]" and we'll look up your link for you.
The surveys will be open until mid-July or so, at which point we will be locking orders to finalize manufacturing count. We will then lock addresses closer to fulfillment (which we expect to begin in October).
If you have any questions, please ask! And if you catch any problems or confusing aspects of the pledge manager, please let us know, and we'll adjust things right away!
Smoke test surveys have been sent!

Hi everyone!
Sorry for the delay with the survey stage of the process -- it has been a busy couple of weeks, including some business travel! About 5% of you may have received an email from Backerkit earlier today with a Pledge Manager survey link -- congratulations! You've been randomly selected as part of the "smoke test"! Be on the lookout for an email from Backerkit on behalf of Label 619-Magnetic Press.
The smoke test is a randomly selected portion of the surveys sent ahead of the others so that we can test for any hidden bugs in the pledge manager that should be fixed before the rest of the surveys are sent. This randomly-selected group is the test subjects to make sure everything is working as expected. 🙂 If you have any issues or questions, or if anything doesn't look right, message us here on Kickstarter or email [email protected] and let us know so we can fix it quickly.
The smoke test phase usually takes about 24-48 hours, or until ~75% of those surveys are completed. Assuming we set everything up right, we should get the rest of the survey links sent by Friday.
If you have any questions or haven't received your links by early next week, let us know, and we'll help you out!
Thanks, everyone! We're deep in the file design stage with the printers and manufacturers, so we'll be sure to post photos in an update as soon as we have something cool to show! 😎
In the meantime, our publishing partner at Magnetic Press just launched a new campaign for a stylish cyberpunk manga-style series called URBANCE, based on the animated short by creator Joel Dos Reis Viegas. If you like edgy sci-fi like SILENT JENNY, you will like URBANCE, too!
What a finish!

Hi, everyone!
Wow, we don't know what to say. Thanks to all of you, this has been the best graphic novel campaign we've ever been a part of (and that's including over 50 of them so far...) THANK YOU! We're so excited for you to get these amazing books, collectibles, and bonus items -- including that last stretch goal which you unlocked right at the finish line! -- and we're equally excited that Mathieu's work continues to get such an enthusiastic response! While he's taking a much-deserved sabbatical, having wrapped up this latest epic, we know he's got lots of ideas for what comes next. And we've got lots of plans for what to bring you next, too! 😎
We'll start assembling the Pledge Manager on Backerkit next week, and if all goes well, you'll get your surveys in two weeks (aiming for Friday the 15th). Kickstarter will collect your pledge immediately, and if they have any trouble, they will contact you and continue trying for two weeks. After the 15th, if Kickstarter can't collect your pledge, they will mark your pledge as canceled, BUT...! Your pledge information still carries into the pledge manager, so your order isn't lost! You can still complete your payment in Backerkit if necessary. 🙂 If you have any issues or questions, just message us for help!
If anyone is seeing this update and wasn't able to pledge during the campaign, the Pledge Manager store will be open around the 15th as well, with pretty much everything still available for preorder!
The books are ready to upload to the printer, and now that we know how many to order, we'll be getting those files sent off next week as well. We're in good shape, so everything should be ready to fulfill in October!
We'll have more news and information in future updates, including product photos as soon as we have them.
Thanks again, everyone! We're off to celebrate now!
We're in the final week! Get a peek behind the making of the Monad!

Hi everyone!
We're in the home stretch... one week left to go, and we've covered so much ground! It's exciting!
Together, you've all unlocked SEVEN stretch goals already, with another one right around the corner! At this rate, we're going to run out of ideas...! (Not really -- we have LOTS of ideas...)
As it says on the campaign page now: all hardcovers will now include bound-in satin ribbon bookmarks and metallic foil-stamped logos on the cover, and all 3 hardcovers in the Trilogy Box (and the Box Sleeved edition of SILENT JENNY) will include gold foil gilding on the page edges. Plus, every physical pledge will receive a set of stickers, a set of postcard Art Prints by Mathieu Bablet, a die-cut microid bookmark, and a logo magnet!
The next stretch goal at $175k will be for a cool PVC keychain featuring Jenny in her microid helmet. Aside from reflecting this memorable story, it will just look cool dangling from your keys or backpack. 😎
At this exciting pace, that may be unlocked this weekend! Keep spreading the word and let's see how much COOL FREE STUFF you can unlock for yourselves...!
MAKING THE MONAD
When David Arberas started the daunting task of capturing the monad in full 3D, all he had to go by were a few panels and pages from the book. But what he ended up creating is as faithful as one can get, even including Jenny's sail-skimmer alongside it for scale!
Something of this magnitude had to be taken in passes of detail, and David shared some images showing the detailing steps he took:
Once he had completed the model, the factory need to figure out how to subdivide it so that it could be 3D printed and easily assembled and packaged. So after some experimentation and adjustment, each monad model will come in four easy-to-attach pieces, shipped in a padded color box.
The box hasn't been designed yet, awaiting proper measurements from the factory. And of course, we'll want Mathieu's involvement in the design. We'll share those when they're ready.
If you haven't pledged for one of these beauties or added one to your pledge yet, don't miss this chance! These will only be produced based on this campaign's demand, and will never be reproduced again! Don't wait until they're $300+ on eBay...!
Alright, gang... this is it! One week left! Let's get out there and gather a community of wasteland survivors! We all make it further with more bodies to support us!
Thanks!
